Tour on Small Enterprises

       Entrepreneurship development cell has organized a one day small enterprise visit to industries surrounding Kurnool. 120 students from Ist & IIIrd  year of ED cell accompanied by  the team of ED cell lectures have visited the following industries.

1. Arjun Detergents & Chemicals             - Pedapadu
2. Sri Raj Plastic bottles                             - Pandipadu
3. Sidda Siva Paints                                   - Pandipadu
4. Ajwa Pipes Industries                           - Pandipadu
5. Sri Shirdi Sai Industries                        - Kallur
6. Damodar oils                                          - Kallur
7. Aishwaryambika Mills                           - Kallur
8. OMPLIS Oravakal                                  - Orvakal

The field trip has given practical insights into the starting of small enterprise, layout structure, processing , manufacturing , packaging, transporting and so on. the students interacted with the owner of few enterprises and got valuable inputs the visit to OMPLIS thoroughly motivated students on how the poorest of the poor women could turn into successful self sustaining woman entrepreneurs .the visit started at 10 am in the college and was completed by 5.30 pm.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES:

1. Students understood the practical issues in the working of  small enterprises.
2. Students understood how the practical issues were resolved by the entrepreneurs
3. Students became motivated to start entrepreneurship through this visit.
