On the eve of Silver Jubilee celebrations of St. Joseph ‘s degree college, the department of Commerce and Management has decided to conducted Intercollegiate Quest 2020- A Mega Event. The planning started from the mid of December and the whole department worked as a team to make it a grand success. The event was subdivided into 7 multi level sub events. Three lecturers were given in-change for each event and 10-15 students (juniors and seniors) were teamed under them. Each event portrays a special functional aspect of Business studies testing the knowledge of subject, practical application, talent and competitive skills of students. Three teams of 7students headed by a lecturer were sent to Nandyal, Adoni and colleges in Kurnool to campaign about the Silver jubilee Celebrations and CM Quest 2020.
The environment set for the Quest 2020 is a win-win situation where participants were tested for their team spirit and individual capacity, for the organising student it was a chance to learn, manage and deal with situation.
Sri.T.G.Bharath the well known industrialist was invited as the Chief Guest for Silver Jubilee Celebrations and proclaimed the inaugural of Intercollegiate CM Quest 2020. A total of 300 students hailing from 18 different colleges of Kurnool district participated in the event. They participated with enthusiasm and their interest was much appreciated. The program ended with valedictory; the winners of the different events were presented with books and participation certificates were distributed to all the participants.
