The Department of English conducted an Event Creative Writing to the UG students on 13 th September, 2019 on the topic Sun Rising .It was conducted mainly to test the writing skills, which is one of the communication skills that is to be developed among the students. Besides this it is an attempt to test the various cluster of skills like thinking sills, decision making skills etc., It also tests semantic and syntactic talents of the students.
Nearly 100 students took part with great zeal in the competition.
Outcome:
The registered candidates participated with great enthusiasm, the following two students expressed their thoughts with clarity and precision and have won the contest of Creative Writing by obtaining first and second places.
