Dr T. Venkata Seshaiah was invited to give a lecture National Income. He spoke about the relevance of calculating National Income especially in India and high lightened various concepts of National Income like Gross Domestic Product, Net Domestic Product, Per capita Income, Growth of National Income from pre-independence to post independence, Effects of Economic Liberalization in India, Pioneers in calculating National Income in pre-independent India and present system of calculating National Income.
