Science Exhibition was organised on the occasion of Science Day celebrations by Department of Biotechnology. The students actively participated in the event displaying the model’s posters and live experiments of current science topics in the field of Biotechnology.
The event was inaugurated bySri Anup Chittranjan,correspondent of St Joseph’s Institutions greeted the students and applauded the activities exhibited by them and encouraged them towards research in Biotechnology. Principal Y. Showrilu Reddy appreciated the effort put on by the staff and students towards science expo and said that the exhibits displayed by the students were good and innovative.
Prof.P. Anil Kumar Department of Animal Biotechnology from Hyderabad Central University , Telangana was the judge of the event. He applauded the efforts put by the students in the preparations and awarded prizes for the best models and posters displayed by the students.He emphasised on the importance of science in recent times and encouraged the students to focus on the areas of research.
The event ended in the evening and the exposure experienced by the students in the field of Biotechnology and its recent trends was a worth and motivativetowards the research in Biotechnology.
