The Department of Zoology Organized one day National Seminar on “Career Opportunities in Higher Education & Research” on 2nd January 2020. Dr.K.Shantha, Principal, St.Joseph’s Degree College proposed the welcome address and spoke about the objectives of the seminar. Dr.C.S.Sreenivasa Rao, Head, Department of Zoology, introduced the Chief Guest and explained theme of the seminar. The Chief Guest & Keynote Speaker was Dr. Suresh Kumar Kalangi, Assistant Professor, Stem Cell Institute, Amity University Haryana, Gurugram. He explained various career opportunities in Life Sciences. He also spoke about the significance of Research in Life Science and different career opportunities after Ph.D in India and abroad.
