Address by the chief guest:
The professor addressed the students on Research and Career opportunities in Cancer Biology. He explained the discovery of tumor stem cell in a range of cancers has created opportunities for researchers to identify these rare cells in cancers and He even emphasized on the role to investigate these cells at different stage of disease. He also stated it is indeed possible to build a perfectly satisfying career in cancer Biology if one is deeply interested in the subject. The lecture was a brief on different types of cancers.
PROGRAM OUTCOME:
The lecture has motivated students towards Cancer Biology and created curiosity among them. Students had a great time interacting with the guest. This lecture helped students to understand the metastasis of cancer.
