Objective:
The objective of the Guest talk is to bring awareness to Breast Cancer.
About the guest talk:
A guest talk was delivered by Dr Vasim Hasan Raja Shaik, MBBS, D.N.B ( Gen. Surgery), Consultant General Surgeon at KIMS Hospital, Kurnool. He emphasised the importance of Breast cancer and enlightened different risk factors like obesity, age, diet and lifestyle changes. He educated the students on how to self examine their breasts daily and other exercises in order to reduce the risk of breast cancer. Students of III BBC & BMC and I BSc BBC& MBC and faculty also have actively participated. Faculty and students enthusiatically came up with many queries and Dr Vasim has patiently cleared the doubts aroused by them.
