Department Of Zoology

            Department of Zoology was established in the year 1994 with the aim to provide an excellent learning opportunity to the students with Biology background. The core strengths of this department are its highly qualified and experienced faculty and laboratories providing sophisticated equipment and facilities required to learn the basic and applied areas of Zoology.

           To offer strong foundation in Animal Sciences and to improve practical skills to enable students to pursue higher education and research in Zoology or in applied areas of Life Sciences.

To focus on recognizing the essential roles of biology in the lives of human beings today and tomorrow

To provide information about contemporary advancements in Life Sciences

To encourage students towards research in the areas of Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology

We emphasize to inculcate critical thinking, analysis of Biological concepts and experimental skills to enhance research ability of the students.
