St.Joseph's is proud of its green campus with environmental friendly practices many big trees rooted out during the great floods of 2009. Again trees were planted. Now there are 173 trees in the campus. The College Enclosure is always green with lawn, flowering beds and ornamental plants. College has a Botanical Garden with Medicinal plants and plants to explain to explain taxonomy in Botany.
College has 80 kw roof top solar panels to tap the renewable energy and LED tube lights in the campus. The College has compost pit to reuse the waste .
