The Department of Zoology Organized one day National Seminar on “The Disturbing Sleep of a Giant Causes Catastrophe: A Curious Case of Kidney Disease” on 15th June 2022. The Chief Guest & Keynote Speaker was Dr. Anil Kumar Pasupaleti, Assistant Professor, Department of Biochemistry, University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad.
He explained the significance of podocytes in ultrafiltration. He also spoke about the structure and functions of podocytes and their malfunctioning in kidney diseases.
